CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Panthers snapped a five-game losing streak on Sunday when they beat the Detroit Lions 20-0.
Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was medically cleared and wanted to play but head coach Matt Rhule made the decision to start PJ Walker since Bridgewater was only 80-85%.
Walker made the most of his first career NFL start. He completed 24-of-34 passes for 258 yds, 1 TD and 2 interceptions.
Join the Got Game team as they debate if Walker should start again next week when the Panthers face the Minnesota Vikings.
