Man Drowns While Attempting to Save Another Swimmer in Distress

An elderly man drowned in Garden City while trying to save another swimmer. The Horry County Coroner’s Office confirmed the man’s identity as 76-year-old Anthony McAleenan from Willowbrook, Illinois.
