Last week, security guards at the 9/11 Memorial ordered a North Carolina middle school choir to stop singing the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ saying it was a form of ‘public demonstration. Officials at the memorial said yesterday that their security guards should not have stopped the choir from singing the national anthem on the memorial plaza.
