The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt was first created in 1987, to serve “as a memorial for those who have died of AIDS, and to thereby help people understand the devastating impact of the disease,” according to the organization’s history. More than 48,000 3’ x 6’ memorial panels make up the quilt today. Careteam+ will display 16 of those panels…
