HCFR crews responded to the area of Highway 501 and Las Palmas Drive.

A two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer happened in Horry County Thursday night. Shortly before midnight, HCFR crews responded to the area of Highway 501 and Las Palmas Drive. All lanes of traffic were blocked off as extraction operations were conducted due to entrapment. Critical injuries were reported. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is now investigating.
