On Saturday, an earthquake with a 6.3 magnitude shook parts of Afghanistan. The quake struck 25 miles West of Herat city in the Western Herat province, the third largest in the country. 11 villages have been completely destroyed and hundreds of civilians have been buried under debris. 2,445 people were killed and 2,440 people are wounded.
