A pedestrian was fatally struck in Horry County on Saturday. The incident happened around 8:15pm. It was said 77-year-old Lena Godbolt was heading west across Highway 701 near Sing Avenue when she was struck by a Kia Sedan that was traveling north. The body of a missing swimmer was recovered Sunday in Myrtle Beach. Shortly before 5:30pm on Saturday, two swimmers were reportedly in distress in the area of 12th Avenue South.
