A welfare check conducted Tuesday morning in Robeson County prompted an investigation. Deputies arrived at a home on Lewis Farm Road in the Shannon community. They found 42-year-old Robert Taylor Jr. deceased. He appeared to have been shot. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Criminal Investigations Divisions are now investigating the case.
