Soaking in epsom salt is one of the best solutions for eliminating toxins. Can’t get to the spa? Try mixing one of these up at home!
Place one cup of epsom salt, one of sea salt, and two cups of baking soda into boiling water to dissolve completely. Once the mixture cools to a temperature you can tolerate, place feet into it. Just a half-hour is all it takes for full body detox, rise in magnesium levels and elminated skin irritations. For an extra relaxing concoction, you can also add lemon juice, mint tea, olive oil and peppermint oil.
Another is the clay detox. Its been linked to increasing magnesium levels, which can help relieve anxiety, improve headache symptoms, and even improve the body’s ability to absorb calcium. Use just a half cup of epsom salt and another half of bentonite clay. Then add the clay to the bath and put the feet in it to soak. A 20-minute soak will suffice.
