Myrtle Beach School Bus Driver Charged

A Myrtle Beach school bus driver has been charged after an incident that happened with a child yesterday morning. The Myrtle Beach Police Department says 75 year old Jimmie Patterson is charged with unlawful neglect of a child or helpless person. Police say he attempted to forcibly remove personal property that a child had in their possession. Patterson started with the district in June of 2015 and was placed on administrative leave yesterday. He is scheduled for a bond hearing today.
