Panel Investigating Capitol Riots Expects Rudy Giuliani to Fully Cooperate with Subpoena

Rudy Giuliani has been engaging with the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection through his lawyer about the scope of his subpoena and whether he may be able to comply with some requests. The panel has made it clear that it expects the former lawyer to ‘fully cooperate’ with its subpoena as Giuliani was a central figure in former President Trump’s failed bid to overturn the 2020 election. An aide to the committee investigating the riots said ‘Mr. Giuliani’s appearance was rescheduled at his request. He remains under subpoena and the select committee expects him to cooperate fully.’ The committee also rescheduled interviews for other high-profile witnesses who engaged with investigators. Robert Costello, Giuliani’s attorney, has declined to say in what areas his client may be willing to cooperate.
