Horry County Woman’s Death Ruled Homicide After She Was Assaulted Inside Her Home

The death of an Horry County woman has been ruled a homicide after she died as a result of an assault inside her home. Authorities have identified the woman as 55 year old Pamela Vereen. Vereen died of her injuries from an assault on Friday in the area of Bombing Range Road in Longs. An investigation into her death began after the Horry County Police Department found her body in her home on Rose Circle. No additional information is currently available.
