Kobe, Gianna Bryant Statue Placed at Crash Site

A statue of Kobe and Gianna Bryant was erected at the site of the helicopter crash in Calabasas, California yesterday on the 2 year anniversary of their deaths. The statue shows Kobe in his Lakers uniform with his arm around Gianna who is also wearing a uniform with a basketball in her hand. The base of the statue has the names of all nine crash victims inscribed into it. The statue will remain at the site only temporarily. A lawsuit related to the crash is set to go to trial February 22nd in which Vanessa Bryant alleges photos of the crash were shared widely according to court documents.
