Woman Turns National Park Trash into Art

Her favorite way to showcase her work is to photograph the piece of painted trash in front of the landscape it depicts.

One artist has combined two of her passions into one eco-friendly message. She’s using her talent to highlight the impact of pollution. She’s from Maine and she picks up litter in parks and along beaches in the U.S….then uses her talent to create works of…what she calls… eco art. She often paints the very spot where she picked up a particular piece of trash and her efforts have even caught the eye of People magazine, which, in December, featured her in a two page spread creating treasure out of trash.
