Light up your Halloween décor with Christmas lights  So you didn’t go all out this year and only picked up a few pumpkins, do this last-minute upgrade and light things up for your trick or treaters! Go to your attic and grab your Christmas lights and wrap a few strands around the pumpkins.  The battery operated ones also work well.

Tie a ribbon around it!  Forgot the candy or opted out of sugaring up the neighborhood kids?  Join in the fun and keep the trick or treaters hydrated.   Get a pack of water and put a sticker on the bottles or simply tie a ribbon put them out in a bucket and set them out for as a treat.  Target even sells labels like these for $9, but any stickers would do here.  You’ll be a hit and save yourself from being labeled the neighborhood scrooge!

What’s for dinner on the spooky night?  This tip will win you a few laughs with an award winning frightful dish.  Have your typical easy spaghetti dinner but add the element of surprise by adding a few drops of black food coloring into your noodles while they’re cooking.  The spaghetti will stain but once cooked doesn’t stain your mouth.  You and your kids can pretend to eat the most disgusting feast!  It’s the little things.  Your kids will remember this for years!

A last-minute costume worth posting, grab some post-it notes paste them all over a shirt and go as a bulletin board. you can pull this off at work too. you may even get brownie points with the boss for thinking outside the box!
