One Injured in Shooting in Florence County

One person was injured during a shooting in Florence county yesterday. The Florence Police Department responded to the 900 block of West Dixie Street in reference to a shooting victim around 2:44 pm. Officers located the victim and rendered aid until they could be taken to the hospital, their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. A short time after the incident, officers detained a person of interest. The incident is currently under investigation.
