Judge Denies Bond for Murdaugh on 2 Felony Charges

Lawyers for the prominent south Carolina attorney requested that judge Clifton Newman grant bond for their client, who has spent five nights in jail following his second arrest in less than a month. 

Disgraced attorney, Alex Murdaugh, was back in South Carolina court this morning.   Murdaugh appeared for a bond hearing on his latest felony charges.  Prosecutors allege that he mishandled funds from a wrongful death settlement for his longtime house-keeper who died after a fall at the family home in Hampton, SC.  Lawyers for the prominent south Carolina attorney requested that judge Clifton Newman grant bond for their client, who has spent five nights in jail following his second arrest in less than a month.   But, Judge Newman denied their request.
