Coldplay Will Need ‘Power’ of Fans for Eco-Friendly Concerts
The tour is expected to produce 50% less carbon dioxide emissions.
Coldplay’s upcoming world tour will aim to be more sustainable by using a dancefloor that creates electricity. Chris Martin said, “When they move, they power the concert and we have bicycles too that do the same thing.” The band will also use solar energy, recycled cooking oil from local restaurants, and power from renewable sources where available. The tour is expected to produce 50% less carbon dioxide emissions than the last one.
