Tom Brady Returns to Foxborough, Breaks Records
Tom Brady returned to New England last night with his Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady and the Bucs won against Belichick’s Patriots with a score of 19 to 17. Brady made history during the game when he surpassed Drew Brees and became the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards when he completed a 28 yard pass to Mike Evans in the first quarter and ended the night with 269 yards. The new all-time benchmark for passing yards is now 80,560.
With the game, Brady also became the fourth quarterback in history to have beaten all 32 NFL teams and joins Brett Farve, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning on that list. Brady helped the Patriots win 6 super bowls in his two decade career and won his 7th last February with the Bucs.
