Try to work some exercise into your routine. even if it’s just some pushups, jumping jacks, or sit-ups. If you’re feeling more motivated, go for a jog around the neighborhood. This will benefit you in the long run, especially if you aren’t able to get in a workout later in the day.

Also, take some time to cuddle with your pets! Not only will it boost your mood but it will make them happy too. Even better, take them on your jog!

Here’s one you can actually get excited about…eat dessert! No, not a giant slice of cake but it’s okay to work in something sweet in the morning like dark chocolate, or chocolate covered fruit! It’s a great way to boost your mood before heading out the door or starting on your chores.

Finally, squeeze in some time to read. No, not your Facebook feed, but a real book or go old school with the newspaper. If you don’t have a lot of time try just knocking out one chapter a day. It’s a positive way to start your morning because it strengthens your mind.
