Town Uses Coronavirus Relief Money to Build Giant Squid Statue

Staying on the topic of the pandemic, a town in Japan recently received millions of yen because of the pandemic. The money was meant to go towards coronavirus relief efforts. But the town decided they didn’t need it. So they instead build a giant statue of a squid because that’s what their town is known for.
