President Biden’s First 100 Days In Office Milestone Is Coming Up This Week

President Biden’s first 100 days in office milestone is coming up this week. So far, over 200 million Covid-19 vaccines have been administered under his administration and he passed the 3rd round stimulus checks for Americans. During his first official news conference in March he said “When I took office, I decided that — it was a fairly basic, simple proposition, and that is, I got elected to solve problems. And the most urgent problem facing the American people, I stated from the outset, was Covid-19 and the economic dislocation for millions and millions of Americans.” He also launched his Infrastructure Plan, the American Jobs Act, the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan and announced other big multi-trillion dollar goals.

On Wednesday, Biden will make a prime time address to a joint session of Congress, the speech comes later than most of the other recent Presidents. But, he will announce that he successfully embarked on a mission he defined on inauguration day to ‘repair’, ‘restore’, ‘heal’ and ‘build.’ He promised 100 million vaccinations in 100 days and delivered over twice as many, sent out $1,400 stimulus checks, and Covid-19 case numbers have dropped from 195,000 new cases and 3,000 deaths a day to 57,000 cases and 700 deaths daily.  On average, 6 of the most recent polls show 55% of Americans approve of the way he’s handling his job and 41% disapprove.
