Popcorn Machine Sets Off Fire Alarm in Government Building Twice

What do tax evasion, vandalism, burglary and popcorn machines have in common? They’re all illegal… Yes, one North Dakota lawmaker learned that the hard way after she purchased a machine to keep in the capitol building. Unfortunately, she was unaware of the 32-year-old ban on them because they can trigger fire alarms in the building…which is what happened twice earlier this week and forced everyone to evacuate. I guess we know now why government work is so slow…
