Florence County Coroner Identifies Victims of Motel Shooting

The names of victims involved in a shooting in Florence County have been released. Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken confirmed two people were found dead after a shooting at Suburban Motel in Florence on Friday. They are identified as 21 year old Chautress Like of Westerville Ohio and 25 year old Donovan McMillan of Hartsville. Lutcken said they were discovered after entry was made into their room by Florence County Sheriff’s Office Deputies after shots were heard during a warrant service. Their autopsies are scheduled at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. The South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division is assisting with the investigation and the manner of death has yet to be determined.
