President Biden Scheduled To Hold First Press Conference

President Biden is scheduled to hold his first press conference as President on March 25th. This news comes after reporters and critics urged him to do so. By this point, both former Presidents Trump and Obama had held some form of conference. Questions expected to be asked of the President include the situation at the southern border, the possibility of an infrastructure package, vaccines and more.  The President is currently on a tour through the states to promote his $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan! On Tuesday, he spoke in his home state of Pennsylvania. There, Biden repeated his goal to get 100 million checks in pockets and 100 million shots in arms in his first 100 days. His American Rescue Plan that he signed into effect, includes $1,400 checks for Americans making $75,000 or less, $350 billion in aid to state and local governments, $14 billion for vaccine distribution and $130 billion to assist with the reopening of schools among other things.
