Garden City Home Sustains Heavy Damage After Fire Breaks Out

Fire crews are investigating after a house fire broke out in Garden City last night. The fire was sparked at a home on Oriole Drive around 6 p.m. The building was filled with smoke and sustained heavy damage to the front and garage area. Fortunately, the resident who lived there was able to get out unharmed. Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire had the blaze under control within 15 minutes after arriving. The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
