Remote Learning is More Stressful Than In Person
Kids could really use a dose of motivation, because going to school from your living room is way harder than it might sound.
A new study found fully remote students are more stressed than those who are going to school in person either some of the time or full time. Some children say being home gives them more of a sluggish feeling. Researchers even say they’ve discovered that students who spend time in the classroom report lower rates of stress and worry than their online peers. Out of 10,000 students, 84 percent of remote learning reported exhaustion, headaches, insomnia or other ailments, that number was slightly lower in students who were in the classroom on some days, and even lower for those attending full time.
