Biden Taps Jaime Harrison as Chairman of the DNC

President-elect Biden has selected Jaime Harrison to serve as Chairman of the Democratic National Convention. The 44-year-old, who recently lost the state Senate race, has previously served as South Carolina’s Democratic Party Chairman. His nomination is expected to go through without any significant opposition, especially since he has the support of House Democratic Whip Jim Clyburn. In response to the news, Senator Lindsey Graham offered his congratulations, wishing him “good luck, but not too much.” Graham added he feels confident in Harrison’s ability to represent the Democratic cause.
