South Carolina Ranked Among Lowest States for Vaccine Distribution
New data from the CDC says out of all 50 states, South Carolina rates among the lowest for least amounts of vaccines per capita. Around 6,700 vaccines per every 100,000 people are currently being distributed across the state. It’s on average 2,000 less vaccines when compared to our neighboring state of North Carolina. Alaska has the highest of all 50 states, receiving over 20,500 doses per 100,000 people. South Carolina ranks at 48th, with Georgia and Alabama, ranking the absolute lowest.
