Gov. McMaster Delivers 4th Annual State of the State Address

Governor McMaster delivered his 4th annual State of the State address yesterday. Among his top priorities this year, he’s pushing for full five-day in-person learning and a $3,000 pay raise for all public school educators. He’s also looking to designate $7 million in CARES Act funds to expand the state’s 4K programs. Finally, the governor wants to ramp up Covid vaccine distribution and restructure DHEC to make it more efficient. However, he does not have new executive orders, directives, or mitigation strategies for Covid-19.
