Dozens of Capitol Rioters Arrested as Part of FBI’s Massive Manhunt

More arrests were made over the weekend in connection to the deadly riot on Capitol Hill. With more than 40,000 tips and counting, the FBI was busy this weekend identifying and charging insurrectionists across the country. Those arrests include the man seen stealing Nancy Pelosi’s lectern, and the one seen putting his foot up on her desk. More than a dozen other people, including a West Virginia lawmaker, are facing offenses ranging from trespassing to possession of firearms and explosive devices. They face years in prison. More arrests are expected in the coming days and weeks as the FBI continues their massive manhunt. Dozens of riot participants are also now on the no-fly list after causing scenes on planes and in airports all weekend. The army secretary further confirmed at least 25 domestic terrorism cases are now open in connection to the riot that killed five people, including one Capitol officer. A second officer is now also deceased, although it’s unclear if it’s directly connected to the riot as of now. He was not on duty but was at the Capitol that day.
