Biden and Trump Administrations Still Clashing Over a Peaceful Transition of Power

Yesterday, news media outlets projected President Trump would win Alaska’s three electoral votes. The official count now stands at Biden’s 290 to Trump’s 217. It’s not expected to change the outcome of the election which has already been called for President-Elect Biden after he surpassed that 270 mark. But, this won’t stop President Trump who’s still pressing legal challenges claiming voter fraud in key battle ground states, many of which remain to be unsuccessful due to lack of evidence.
The President is also demanding recounts in several states. Georgia will now conduct a by-hand recount of their over five million ballots. President-Elect Biden leads by over 14,000 votes and the Georgia secretary of state said he does not expect the results to change, either. But, he has ordered the recount nonetheless to ensure confidence in the result. In the meantime, the Biden and Trump administrations continue to clash over a peaceful transition of power.
