Half of Youth Say They’ve Never Seen a Real Cow
What? Greg and Audra ponder the reality of not growing up with cows.
In case you were wondering, there are 100 million cows in the U.S. So you’d think most of us would bump into one at some point. But, according to a new survey the younger set, ones specifically between 11 and 24 years old, 54% of those say they’ve never seen a cow in real life. That means the majority of that generation has never seen or heard a ‘moo’ in person. Here are some of the other things they’ve never done: 43% have never gone camping or even hiking. 27% have never seen the sun rise. 19% have never cooked a meal from scratch. 15% have never left the state where they were born. And finally, 13% have never sent something in the mail.
