We Might Love Our Couch Too Much

A Onepoll survey shows Americans are spending an additional 448 hours on the sofa. Since March, we are are answering work emails from the couch, snuggling to watch netflix, reading, and sometimes eating takeout there.  Meanwhile The American Heart Association warns about what happens when we sit too long.  Sitting slows blood flow, fatty acids build up and can lead to heart disease a slew of other issues because your body can’t break down fat as well when you are sitting. So set a timer or download apps to remind you to move, watch your posture, stand periodically or consider ordering a standing desk.  Work it out by going on a walk, plan a fitness class, or choose the far parking spot.  Just move!
