Identity of Victim From Early Morning Myrtle Beach Shooting Revealed

The man fatally shot in Myrtle Beach yesterday morning has also been identified. 30-year-old Darius Hemingway died from his injuries at an Allen’s Food Basket along Highway 501 after gunfire broke out. Hemingway was reportedly a very active and charitable community member. This includes donating dozens of gifts to under privileged children last Christmas with plans to do the same again this year. Many have referred to his death as a senseless act of violence. Several other people were also injured and they’re currently receiving treatment. Myrtle Beach Police still do not have a suspect in custody.
