Trump, Biden Ramp up Campaigning as More States Begin Early Voting

The presidential election is now just three weeks away and there’s a lot to cover. President Trump officially resumed his campaign trail in person yesterday with a rally in Florida. While many still fear he may be holding events too soon, his doctors confirmed he’s no longer a transmission risk and are now saying he’s tested negative for Covid-19 “on consecutive days”. Former Vice President Joe Biden is also attempting to make some ground in battleground states this week. He toured Ohio yesterday with plans to visit Florida today. Meanwhile, his wife Jill will be in Texas campaigning on his behalf. Early voting has begun in numerous states and already they’re reporting historic turn outs. In Georgia yesterday, people waited for over 11 hours in long lines just to cast their ballots. This could be a positive indication of what’s to come in this year’s election. However, it’s not all good news. The California GOP party has been ordered to cease and desist after it was discovered they placed unauthorized ballot drop boxes in at least three counties. This is a serious problem as it could lead to fraudulent voting or ballots becoming invalidated.
