Man Wanted for Attempted Murder of His Parents in Fairfield County

Police are searching for an attempted murder suspect who is currently on the run. Joshua Williamson is accused of shooting his father with a rifle and choking his mother unconscious this weekend while in their Lake Wateree home. Their exact conditions remain unclear but both are presumed to be alive. Williamson is described as a white man, 5-feet 11-inches tall weighing around 190 pounds with black hair and blue eyes. He may be driving a 2000 Chevy Camaro with t-tops and a South Carolina license plate SPH 382. Williamson is assumed to be armed and dangerous.
