President Trump Returns to White House Following Hospitalization for Covid-19

President Trump was released from Walter Reed yesterday evening and offered these words of encouragement: “Don’t let it dominate you. Don’t be afraid of it…I stood out front. I led. Nobody that’s a leader would not do what I did. And I know there’s a risk, there’s a danger. But that’s okay. And now I’m better, and maybe I’m immune. I don’t know….Thank you very much and Walter Reed, what a group of people. Thank you very much!” Despite his optimism, the president is not out of the woods. It’s believed he returned to the White House against the advice of his medical advisors and is still receiving a plethora of intense drugs. Concerns were further sparked after the president ascended a stair case to pose for a photo op before heading inside the White House. He can be seen struggling to catch his breath after removing his mask. For now, President Trump will remain in isolation for at least the next ten days and continue to receive round the clock care. There are still questions surrounding the president’s exact condition. Also up for debate is the when and where he became infected. Some people are speculating that he may have known he was sick earlier than the public was led to believe. This is concerning because if the president was aware of his condition and continued to attend public events, he would have knowingly exposed potentially hundreds of people.
