NFL Returns Tonight with Houston Texans Against Kansas City Chiefs
Following months of anticipation, football is finally set to return tonight and we’ve got everything you need to know prior to kick off. The pandemic has forced many changes into the NFL this year. Similar to other sports organizations, they’re closely monitoring players who are being tested daily. Each team has a testing site at their own facilities. Detailed plans have also been put in place for when a player tests positive in order to reduce spread. This includes immediate isolation and a mandatory quarantine. However, unlike the NBA, players won’t be living in a bubble. The potential of spread within the leagues seems likely at this point.
The first game of the 2020 season will be played by the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs who are fresh off their Super Bowl LIV win. The last time these two teams were pitted against each other was January, pre-pandemic. Kick off is scheduled for 8:20 p.m.
