Reward Offered in 2019 Death of Murrells Inlet Man Found Under his House

A reward is now being offered in the death of a Murrells Inlet man. Hubert Clodfelter went missing back in March of 2019 and was found dead in May that same year. His remains were discovered by his wife Irene beneath the porch of their beach home. She was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder, two counts of obstruction of justice, and desecration of human remains. That final charge was just recently dropped from her case. Hubert’s family is now offering $8,000 “for answers into the death of their father”. An additional $1,000 is also up for grabs for any information that leads to an arrest.
