Celebrate September with this Pumpkin Butter Recipe!

Even though it’s technically still summer, a lot of people associate the month of September as the start of fall so today’s we’re making a autumn themed recipe. we’re whipping up some pumpkin butter…similar to apple butter but obviously with pumpkin instead.
Here’s what you need:
– 1 can pumpkin puree
– 1/2 cup apple cider
– 1/3 cup light brown sugar
– 1/4 cup  maple syrup
– 1/4 tseaspoon ground ginger
– 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoonnutmeg
– 1 teaspoon  vanilla
– and a pinch salt
It’s simple you just want to combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture has thickened, about 20 minutes. Then let it cool completely. After that it’s goon on toast, english muffins, or even apple slices.
