State Senate Meeting This Week to Discuss Possible Voting Changes
The South Carolina Senate is preparing to meet later this week to discuss possible voting changes amid the pandemic. This Wednesday, senators will meet at the Statehouse for a one-day special session. They will debate possible changes that includes expanding absentee voting to allow for anyone to participate for any reason, implementing early voting at polling places, dropping the witness signature requirement and more. This all in an effort to keep residents safe during the pandemic.
