Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospitalized for Possible Infection
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized early yesterday morning for a possible infection. A court spokeswoman said she “was admitted to the Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore, Maryland” after initially being evaluated at a hospital in DC. It’s believed Ginsburg was experiencing symptoms that included fever and chills. Following an endoscopic procedure, it’s reported the 87-year-old justice is now resting comfortably and will remain in the “hospital for a few more days to receive intravenous antibiotic treatment.” This is just the latest incident in a series of medical issues the justice has had while serving, especially within recent years. Her most recent hospitalization prior to this was back in May for a “a benign gallbladder condition.” President Trump said of the news “I wish her the best. I hope she’s better.” He even praised her for some of her recent rulings that favored him.
