2 Dead, 6-Month-Old Injured After Shooting in Cheraw

Two people are dead and a 6-month-old injured after a shooting in Cheraw yesterday. The incident occurred at the Dizzy Gillespie Apartment Complex around 4 a.m. Upon arrival, police found a man already dead from a gunshot wound in the passenger side of a vehicle. A woman and infant had also been shot but were alive. Unfortunately, the woman later died from her injuries at the hospital. The child only sustained an injury to the arm and is expected to survive. Several people have already been arrested and their information is expected to be released later today. It’s believed one more suspect is still at large. Police have them on surveillance footage removing two guns found at the scene. They will be sought with arrest warrants if they do not turn themselves in before today.
