FBI Concludes Bubba Wallace Not a Victim of a Hate Crime
NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace was not the target of a hate crime, the FBI concludes. A noose was reportedly discovered in the garage stall of the racer at the Talladega Superspeedway over the weekend. After an immediate investigation was launched yesterday, the FBI reported their findings. They believe the so-called noose was actually a garage door handle fashioned to look like a noose. They also believe the rope had been in the stall as far back as last October. Many have compared the incident to that of Jussie Smollett who is accused of committing a fake hate crime against himself. However, Wallace maintains he never saw the alleged noose in person and was not the one who reported it. He further added he’s never seen a garage door pull like that. He said the rope was fashioned like a “straight-up noose” and the sight of it nonetheless was extremely alarming, especially in light of recent events.
