DHEC Reports Over 1,000 New COVID-19 Cases Yesterday

DHEC announced yesterday that South Carolina saw an increase in cases by just over a thousand. Six additional deaths were also reported. This brings the statewide totals to 25,666 confirmed cases and 659 deaths. Furthermore, it’s reported 14 students from Ohio who recently visited Myrtle Beach have also tested positive for COVID-19. This is just another in a series of incidents where visitors are believed to have contracted the virus while visiting the city.
