JC Pennys Permanently Closing Several Local Locations

JC Penny announced last night they will be permanently closing 154 locations as a result of the pandemic. Three of those locations will impact us locally. The JC Pennys at Myrtle Beach Mall, the Magnolia Mall in Florence and Biggs Park Shopping Center in Lumberton will all be shut down within the next 10 to 16 weeks. This comes after the retail store filed for bankruptcy back in March. They also plan to announce more store closures in the coming weeks.
