Deadly Armed Robbery at Residence in Robeson County

A deadly armed robbery in Robeson County is under investigation. The incident occurred at a residence in Maxton early yesterday morning. When police arrived, they found the victim, 34-year-old Alexander Locklear, injured with a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, Locklear later died from his injuries after being transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital. The Robeson County Sheriff’s office have not named a suspect and anyone with information is asked to call them.
