Two Arrested for Robbery, Kidnapping in Robeson County, NC

A man and woman have been arrested in connection to a robbery and kidnapping. Police were called to a residence in Robeson County, North Carolina yesterday. One of the victims identified 32-year-old Rommie Cummings as the suspect who invaded her home and held her at gunpoint. He then kidnapped another woman who was in the home at the time. Police were able to track Cummings down in Lumberton and arrest him, as well as the woman who was assisting him, 42-year-old Melanie Hunt. Cummings faces charges of robbery and second-degree kidnapping. Hunt is charged with conspiracy to second-degree kidnapping.
