Man Charged in Bennettsville Apartment Double Shooting

A man has been arrested and charged in connection to the Bennettsville double shooting. The incident occurred early yesterday morning at the Marlboro Court Apartments on Oakwood Street. The suspect, Johnathon Jenkins, reportedly fired shots into a car, injuring two people. Jenkins then ran into an apartment where he was shortly after apprehended without incident. He is charged with four counts of attempted murder, discharging a weapon into a motor vehicle, and the possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. The condition of the victims has not been made available but they are being treated at a local hospital.
